Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips

I have a skin that does not discriminate between black heads and white heads. I mean, my face has it all from black heads to white heads to acne to oily T Zone to dry cheeks to redness to hyper-pigmentation and more. Also, I have not had a facial since my pregnancy.

I came across this hyped product almost a year back while we were doing our last minute shopping before travelling. Since then started our very beautiful relationship.

What is it?
Nose strips with natural charcoal for deep cleansing of pores

Product claims

It works like a magnet to instantly lock on to and lift out deep-down dirt, oil and blackheads. In just 10 minutes, you will remove weeks worth of buildup, see 3 times less oil and achieve your deepest clean.

Package has 9 nose strips and retails at around AED 40.

How to use?

  1. Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use.
  2. After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose. The strip won’t stick on a dry nose.
  3. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to nose area, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin.
  4. Let dry for about 10 to 15 minutes until stiff to the touch.
  5. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward center. Any residue left on skin is easily removed with rinsing.

Sorry darlings, mama is not going to do aΒ  pros and cons section as I do not want to make you all yawn to death (Yes I can see you).

My Take

Mama used this as per the instructions the night before travelling. It did a decent job of cleaning up my really gross black and white heads filled nose but, left it extra red and dry (ouch). Using a toner quickly and slathering on night cream, sorted that issue.Β  The next day was when I truly appreciated this nose strip as my bb cream sat beautifully on my usually troublesome nose. There was hardly any bloating sheets or touch ups needed. Even my pores looked smaller.

All in all a good product and a must have for people like me (women and men) who have oily t zone and no time for facials. However, people with sensitive skin, sunburned skin and active acne should stay far away from this product.

I have tried a number of nose strips and this is what I keep repurchasing despite it being pricier than the others as it does what it says.Β  I really like the fact that it comes in individual packets as it is easy to travel with.

I use it once in 14 days and honestly do not recommend using it more than twice a month.

Have you used it? What are your thoughts?
