Herbal Teas – A Mini Haul

haul

Whatever your age is and whatever you do in life, most of us on a regular basis are stressed out. Some of us turn to eating sugary pick me ups and some of us rely on extra cups of coffee. Something that is helping me to stay sane and hydrated without reaching out for too many fries and chocolates is my favorite herbal teas.

There goes the mini haul.

It is my first time trying Clipper Teas as you all know I am way too budget conscious. This was hubby’s shopping spree to handle work pressure and may I say that these are aromatherapy sessions in a cup (Bliss).

Clipper Teas are organic and uses unbleached tea bags. The fennel tea is perfect for a nursing mom for milk production. But, most of us don’t know that fennel has anti inflammatory, anti spasmodic and anti microbial properties that can benefit our extremely stressed out bodies.

You do not have to go out and buy fennel tea bags as you can just use the seeds from your kitchen to make tea. But, to take to office and travels these tea bags are perfect. Do you know that having fennel tea twice a day during menstruation can ease the cramps and enhance your mood?

Hubby likes fennel tea as it heals his swollen gums and freshens his breathe. It also helps decrease his sweet cravings and reduces bloating.

The Tropical infusion Tea for me is like a quick vacation in a cup. The Orange peels and Pineapple gives it a refreshing flavor while the 1% coconut in it adds a hint of creamy taste.

Hibiscus, Ginger and Goji Berry from Dr Stuarts is a very calming herbal infusion. Ginger helps to calm stomach and Hibiscus along with Licorice eases tension. The slight notes of spearmint and peppermint freshens the breathe. It has more of an Ayurvedic feel to it and I am a huge fan of the easy to travel with packaging.

As Dr. Stuart the ethno botanist says, β€œ Relax, Refocus and Recharge”

Herbal teas are a great way to stay hydrated and reduce eating unhealthy foods and having cans of soft drinks.

My other favorite teas are green tea, peppermint tea and chamomile tea about which you all know more than enough already.

What are your favorites?

  1. My favorite tea is green tea, although on my first attempt I hated it like anything. Now, I drink two cups daily and huge lot of difference I found on my skin after that.

This seems like a very healthy combination of some healthy ingredients. Very informative post. Never knew fennel seeds are so healthy.
